About · Off the Grid
The person behind it.
Away from the editor: Chemex coffee, modal jazz, German indie playlists and a notebook full of ideas. Hamburg-Schanze is base camp.
Principles — three sentences I hold myself to.
01
Better once right than three times fast.
Applies to systems, photos and coffee alike.
02
Strong backbones. Clear contrasts.
Substance in the system, attitude in the image — nothing arbitrary in between.
03
Unfinished things may be shown.
Permanent building sites included. Perfection is rarely honest.
